Still Life re-created

Our task was to reproduce a still life painting as a photograph. Trying to capture the light and "feeling". I found it a struggle to recreate the feeling of brush strokes - not allowed to faff around in Photoshop to do it, in fact I am not sure how it is possible (maybe finding a different painting would be an idea).
