Just swanning along!

Another grey day to start but early afternoon the sun came out for a while, so I took the time to go for a walk down to the brickfield ponds. The water was over the bank where the fishermen usually sit and it was very slippy! Some ducks flew off as I got there and the coots where weaving in and out of the reeds. As I went round the corner I saw the swans, just two of them, no youngsters around. I liked this closer shot of this one powering along but have put a wider shot showing more of the pond on blipfolio country walks2 if interested. Went out with friends this morning for coffee and to garden centre and a walk later in the afternoon with another friend.
