Snookered

Sometimes in life, you face situations where you feel snookered. There just seems no way out of some dilemma.

Here is where the saying comes from. In the snooker room where I live I have the very odd game. I use the term odd in two ways. Firstly it is extremely rare for me to play the game, and secondly the way I play it could also be described as "odd".

So for me this situation, where I have to get at the yellow, means I am truly snookered. I could see no way out. Any advice you snooker lovers out there?
