Battambang

I took a 5-hour mini van from Phnom Penh to Battambang. It's the country's 2nd largest city but it's still pretty small. There's very little tourism here and I'd heard it's 'real' Cambodia, whatever that means.

I went for a delicious meal at an Indian restaurant which had been recommended, then bought some rambutan from a market stall to have for dessert back at my hotel. The fruit are very similar to lychee and I love them, as you can probably tell from the beautiful photo...
