Gorgeous!

The valley was invisible this morning, due to the mist, or was it rain? Either way, I saw just a blanket of white. And before leaving my bed, I had a blanket over me, a light blanket, but a blanket all the same. I haven't used a blanket for the last month.

And then came the rain. Not a deluge of rain, but light showers, on and off all day. Between showers I took a walk around the garden, swatting away the mosquitoes, whilst taking over a hundred photos of flowers ~ they all looked so fresh and happy today! It's amazing the change you can see after just a small amount of rain, during a time of heat and drought.

I couldn't decide what to blip today. The light was perfect for taking photos. I chose this one of my fluff ball tree, as when the heat returns, the fluff balls will wither very fast. I haven't a clue what the tree is called though, I named it myself for obvious reasons.

So now, I'm heading to bed again, it's nearly 11 pm, to listen to the gentle rain, read my book, and to enjoy the cool air while it lasts.
