Breaking Cover

Happy Birthday Bluebellsea.

Early morning found me at Petworth Park hoping for a spectacular deer shot with which to wish bluebellsea a Happy Birthday. Unsurprisingly, given my camera and (lack of) expertise, that was not to be. Took lots, all hazy. This deer is leading the breakout from the enclosure - which is huge with lots of open gates so they can leave when they are ready to in the mornings.

Started slowly then there was a rush of them heading out and over the fields towards the lake where they convened with another herd. It was wonder-full to watch.
