The Gents'
I was in London today on a course. Thanks to blipping, walking from Oxford Circus along Great Titchfield St to Foley St was a visual delight - I took in architectural details that I previously wouldn't have ever noticed.
When I first saw this, it reminded me of the wonderful Parisian metro entrances. Its real function was a million miles away.... apparently it used to be a public toilet. Unfortunately it became a favourite haunt for the local winos and the council closed it.
I dashed out at lunchtime, just as the sun came out, et voila!
