Farewell

When we were on our honeymoon 44 years ago (!), we met another couple who had been married on the same day as us in another part of the country. We become great friends and over the years have kept in touch.

Sadly today we were at Ewen's funeral in Tauranga, a huge gathering to celebrate the life of a great guy. He had spent his life involved with sport, playing and coaching rugby and surf lifesaving and following his three boys who enjoyed sport as much as he did.

The Big "C" has taken another wonderful person, far too young.
