Tay Bridge Memorial

A wee short distance from my house is the Tay Bridge Memorial, one of 2 memorials (the other is on the dundee side of the new bridge) which is to honor those who lost their lives in the Tay Rail Bridge Disaster. It occurred during a violent storm on 28 December 1879 when the first Tay Rail Bridge collapsed while a train was passing over it from Wormit to Dundee, killing all aboard.
I treated this photo to a sepia conversion then added the flower colours back in.
