market day and the town bustled with shoppers crowding to the greengrocers stall, fish van and occasionally stopping to browse the second hand books.
The Park had a stall which a group of us volunteers manned. Lots of lovely fresh garden produce for sale, leeks, spring onions, kale and salad leaves, freshly baked scones from the cafe and a most vibrant intense raspberry jam. The hampers I put together yesterday were part of a bigger effort and together made quite a festive sight.
