Purple Reindeer

Today we visited Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury. There is currently a Christmas Market there, but we always try and visit at this time of year as the house is always beautifully decorated for Christmas. I took several photos of the display inside but as the lighting levels were fairly low I wasn't too happy with any of them, so this is part of the display in the gift shop.

Each year there is also a light installation in the grounds with this year being the third year it has been created by British artist Bruce Munro. It was a bright sunny afternoon when we were there so couldn't get the effect but from what we saw it may be worth a return trip later in the day. It's on until 4th January so there will be plenty of time to see it.
