As Ant says it seems a pity to spend quite a bit having these rooms decorated all exactly the same colours. This room is a bit of a special case as it's never really been finished - lots of it only had one coat when it should have had two and the cupboards have been looking the worse for wear for a while now.

But what colour to paint them this time? We've tried seven colours. Four we've rejected out of hand but now we have three new colours or the colour they are at the moment.

I'd repaint them the soft grey they are now. But it does seem rather unenterprising, they've been that colour for eight years, isn't it time for a change?
