It's a miracle

Flight I mean. When you think about it. Looking at this Pelican taking off I was thinking about how amazing it is that enormous structures such as the A380 can get off the ground and fly. Leaving that aside, the act of flying is such a wondrous thing, soaring through the skies. I saw two Sea Eagles out my window at work today. They have a limited window in the harbour before they get chased off by seagulls or ravens or whoever is around, but imagine circling at heights the way they do.
