Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus)
A day around home catching up on things that have been left while we have been working at the Lodge. By mid afternoon it was getting quite dull and dismal. I had nothing in the camera and no inspiration.
The result was I set up the camera on the tripod looking out at the bird feeders. Then whenever I was passing and there was anything there I would click the shutter. This resulted in lots of blurred BlueTits as they flew away and many shots of a back, a tail or a beak peeping out from the far side.
This is one of the few usable shots that resulted from my attempts. It isn't too bad and not cropped.
