Time ........

With today's November Theme challenge being time I set out for downtown Bethlehem. I knew that the Central Moravian Church had a clock in the bell tower.

Time on clock: 2:15 pm.

Since the day was somewhat overcast and the sky quite dreary, I have added an "oil painting" effect to add some interest to the photo. The church sits uphill from where I was standing so the perspective is a little off.

Central Moravian Church is Bethlehem’s first congregation and the oldest Moravian Church in North America. Several places of worship were utilized by the early Moravians in their mission to bring the good news to the early colonists and American Indians in Bethlehem. On April 16, 1803 the cornerstone was placed for a new Sanctuary. The Sanctuary was the largest church building in PA at the time.
