Preparing the Feast!

We started cooking today so we can enjoy the company of our family tomorrow. The house is clean, food is all purchased, cranberry relish and cranberry sauce are cooling in the fridge, turnips are mashed, Brussels sprouts are roasted. Tomorrow, we will roast the turkey, make the sweet potatoes, make creamed cauliflower and creamed onions just to name a few of the dishes. Yum! Meredith will make the stuffing and mashed potatoes. Apple Crumb Pie is baked and cooling. Can't wait for tomorrow. The grandchildren will come over to help set the table. We are thankful that Liz is healing well. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving!
