Different day

........... than planned, well the second half. First half involved a visit then a meeting.
Afternoon started as planned, late lunch then pa-in-law to GP, prescribed tablets which should help him have more energy. I had received a telephone call from my sister, she had had some blood tests carried out yesterday and the GP surgery had called wanting to urgently see her - GP arranged for her to be admitted to hospital for further tests. So after dropping pa-in-law back home, went onto the hospital. Sister admitted, got home - no one else in, so cooked tea.

(Popped into Waitrose to put prescription in on the way home (chemist within shop), seems like silver and red are the colours for this Christmas)

Now to catch up on the work that I should have been doing.
