As I walked through the fog all alone

Freezing fog greeted us today and it never really cleared all day long turning to mist and drizzle by evening. Crossing back over the railway on the way back from school I caught this train heading north through the fog.
True to my word I took Mum to the surgery in the freezing weather. It seems that she has a chest infection and is now safely ensconced back at home in the warm with a course of antibiotics so fingers crossed for some improvement.
