2 years ago today Philip and I spent our first full day in our new home!

We had been waiting for a very special occasion to drink a very special bottle of champagne! Philip had always wished to have a bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne and I bought him one for an earlier significant birthday!

It was not disappointing and we enjoyed a lovely evening together - with what was then our lovely new view!

Today Crozet608 and I also went to choose carpets for the bedroom which was a positive French Language experience (we managed to understand and respond to what was going on!!!). And I had a surprise visitor arrive at 10pm!! Thank you both for organising that! More tomorrow....
