Tortilla Seller
A big shopping trip to the mercado for the fixins for the Thanksgiving meal to come in a few days at the complex. Our son and his wife are making stuffing and my wife is in charge of sweet potatoes, so there was lots to search for in the mercado and its surrounding streets. Not for Thanksgiving, but for lunch later, was a kilo of tortillas at this little shop on the way to my favorite produce vendor. While we waited our turn (always a good sign) I shot photos of the person ahead of us. She had brought her own towel in which to wrap the hot off the machine tortillas. We neglected to bring ours, so our order was packaged in brown paper and we paid the extra peso for a bag so we could carry them on the rest of our shopping rounds.
