VW Bug

A quick blip from Bill's HO model train layout. I love this little VW beetle with it's little travel trailer. He's been working on his layout these past few days. He had to re-do his roads because he learned that sometime in the mid 1950's the white lines were changed over to yellow. He wanted to conform to an earlier time period...sort of....so he changed the yellow to white. I never knew that...did you?

Today I took my aunt to the gastrointestinal doctor. Dec 30 she will go in and they will go down and go up to check out her insides to see if there is a cause to be found for her to be losing blood and causing her to be anemic. She is now on her liquid iron supplement also. She's done this before, but, lucky her, she gets to do this again. He even talked about her swallowing that "camera pill", that would check the 20 feet of small intestines. The pill is like a horse pill, and my aunt can't hardly swallow tiny pills so THAT isn't going to work. I guess they have another way of getting it down her, if it comes to that. Maybe it won't. I hope not. After that it was a quick library stop (Tana French's newest book, which I have on hold at my library also) then a slower stop at her grocery where we got a few things. Then, as she was getting quite tired by then, back to her place.
