Entangled & Exposed
I walk by this tree every day when picking my daughter up from school. And only today did I really take note of these exposed roots. Beginning about 5 feet above ground, they jet out of the trunk and wind their way downward. Did I never really see this tree before? I imagine this is what it might look like if an octopus's legs were to get tangled.
I've not been very good about taking photos every day as I had intended when I began here a few weeks ago. Somehow, there just seem to be days when I don't see anything worth photographing. But the reality is that there are interesting things everywhere, if only I can learn to take notice. I think that's beginning to happen. I think I'm beginning to notice the interest and beauty in everyday.
