Out And About

If tomorrow is anything like today I might not get away on holiday on Thursday .... I will be locked up for doing serious damage to a child or two.

To prevent that damage happening today after coming back from the shops, I went straight back out again by myself to get a couple of magazines to take away with me.
I stopped off and took some shots of The Windvane Family and the nice sky.
Watching the plane cutting across the sky I couldn't help but with it was Friday.

After making the kids lunch (not as easy as it sounds with them dragging chairs about, complaining, fighting, screaming and generally getting in the way) I took PD out for a decent walk to try and lower the blood pressure.
Down in the woods there were workmen ripping out the duckboards and starting to put in a proper path. That means you will be able to walk through rather than just round the outside of the woods all year instead of just in very dry weather.

With most of the leaves being off the trees there is plenty of moisture and leaf litter to help the fungi flourish (does fungi 'flourish'?).
Even old gates (just for Dotty) stand out better.
