Remembering a mishap

Oh my poor mug! I got this piece of pottery when I was home in Canada, a gift from my sister. It was broken (by accident) about 2 days after I had carefully transported it across the ocean back to Scotland. I took a picture of it this morning as I was planning on emailing the image back to my brother in Canada to see if I could replace it with a similar one. It was made and painted by a pottery artist so no two are exactly the same. I really like how the mug looks in the image (even if it is in pieces) and how beautiful the painted flowers appear against the warm colour of the clay.
