Presentation: Responsibility
I didn't have to teach my last class today because my students in the class put on a presentation for some of the school leaders, teachers, and parents.
For 40 minutes, these students performed skits, speeches, songs, and took a vow towards the end.
The theme: Responsibility.
It was naturally all in Chinese, and if someone isn't counting or saying a few food items, I'm always lost, so I was mainly there to just show support to my students.
I gathered afterwards that one of the skits had a mother and her child discussing his poor behaviors in the classroom and in life (sleeping in class, using the cellphone, drinking alcohol, smoking, etc.) and how he needed to take responsibility for his future..
These students work so hard day in and day out, so it was nice to see them have some fun performing all this as well.
The next time I see this class, I'm sure they'll get a kick out of this picture.
