Autumn in our house

No pictures of the apple pies or presents for husband's birthday, but this sorrowful image of the hibiscus plant which is certainly not feeling its best inside, despite regular watering and a nice temperature all around. Snif, it's losing most of its leaves and all those promising buds. Could it be there are more than the one caterpillar (there was one that ate the biggest bud) ? I don't think the plant will survive the winter either outside or inside !
