Back to the old grind
The track...we meet again. Working out provides such a rush after the fact. It doesn't matter if I run a lousy mile, or if I'm lifting in the weight room - I always have a sense of accomplishment.
Over the past year or two, I've slacked. Big time. I watched little "extras" appear on my body: love handles...ten pounds that weren't there before...the ability for my thighs to rub together when I walked. Maybe it didn't appear that way to everyone else, but I felt it. Getting winded going up a flight of stairs? Ridiculous! I'm 27, not 77!
So we're back to the old grind. And it will pay off!
