Excited Dog = Broke

My dog was so happy when I came home after lunch today..going in circles..doing a little happy jumping (which she gets scolded for every time she jumps!) and then her paw caught the camera strap where it hung over the edge of the table! BAM when the 50mm lens on the floor now in 2 parts. It scared her and of course I yelled Bad Dog!
Moral of the story: Don't let the camera strap hang over any surface ever!
Good News: the Canon is working just fine with its 18-55 lens attached!
Other tidbit of news: Santa will be bringing me a new 50mm lens for the second year in a row. And the dog hung her head and then I had to give her some loving. All is well now.
