We went out for an early family lunch to celebrate my mum's birthday (belatedly) and my brother's birthday next week. It was some kind of gastro pub out in Mobberley and everyone who had eaten there before was raving about the food - huh, it was pretty crap for almost everyone (charlieboy pictured here had no problems with his sausages and mash) and the plates were sent back piled high with uneaten food. If they had bothered to ask us what we thought, I think I would have had a mini-moan but they were so concerned with getting us cleared up and out for the next sitting that the service was poor too.
On a brighter note, it was really good to spend time with everyone and have a catch up and Charlie and the bean were in fine form :)
