Through the looking brass

Rain prevented my usual walk today, so I was forced to look around the house for inspiration. I have to admit I was struggling to come up with something. My house is dark on the best of days and when it is overcast it makes indoor shots well nigh impossible. And I have never been one for flash photography.

Luckily, I spotted the reflections in the brass planters besides the front door. I didn't quite capture the reflection of the frost-damaged palm as I would have liked but managed to achieve someting presentable.
