Mount Teide

This is mount Teide on Tenerife, a dormant volcano with it's first covering of snow this winter. It is Spain's highest mountain and stands at 12,198 feet tall.

There is a 45 minute ferry ride between our island and Tenerife so we are quite a distance away and I was asking a lot of my little camera.

We have been to the top of Teide but there is restricted access now. You take a cable car so far and then walk the remainder to the top.
