Busker talent
We used to have strumming Dave, who could not play a note but turned out in all weathers including rain and snow and sat tunelessly 'playing' all day. He collected for charity and got sympathy, regular contributions and hot drinks in winter or ice cream in the summer. His strumming, however, did get a bit wearisome when you had to listen to it all day. However, for the last three weeks we have been entertained every market day with a seriously talented jazz group. They deserved every penny they got, as it was bitterly cold in the morning. They kept warm with plenty of clapping and jazz 'whooping' for want of a better term.
