The Pub With No Name

Situated 'off the beaten track' in the countryside just up the lanes from where I live is this post and empty iron frame of a signboard close to the road. The pub also known as The White Horse, looks like a whitewashed farmhouse and there are some fantastic walks nearby.
It is the subject of Edward Thomas's poem 'Up the Wind' (1914) and where he wrote the poem in The Edward Thomas Bar. (Formally, The Smithy)
(I blipped Edward Thomas's memorial Stone which is on the nearby Hangers, 10th Nov 2013, if you are interested to drop by and have a look)
