Inspecting the new hen run

Now we have settled into our new house we have expanded the temporary hen run to make a permanent one. The hens wandered round inspecting progress in between getting into the old compost heap. They are so curious and trusting getting right under our feet and tools.

I do not expect that grass to last long.
