What a day

Totally fantastic day celebrating Bek getting her Masters Degree.

First we went up the Shard - what an amazing building. The weather was not very kind to us and it was cloudy and drizzled but still the views were amazing. Then down to the 33rd floor for a wonderful Chinese meal. The food was excellent and although it was very expensive it was so worthwhile because of the whole experience. We watched the lights slowly coming on all over London - totally beautiful.
Then had a walk along the Thames and went to the Tower of London again to see the remaining poppies all floodlit - still so lovely.
This evening we went to see Miss Saigon - Bek had bought me tickets for my birthday. A really lovely show.
A fantastic day which we will remember for ever.
