A Lovely Day

Sunset over the Meads.  

Cousin Christina (Dad's niece) and Mike came from Oxfordshire and together with my bro Gareth we went to the Fox and Raven (haven) for leisurely pub lunch and lovely afternoon.   Anyway, a couple of hours later and satisfactorily satiated, we are home at Dad's, when school's out and all three children have joined us.  A room full of family.

The photograph, taken as we were leaving the pub, shows the Meads rather heavily flooded by recent rains overfilling the river Chelmer, with ducks and a swan instead of the usual horses that graze there.  I have Blipped this view before, but never looking quite like this!
