Met Leslie today on Eastbourne sea front waiting for the start of the removal of the burnt out remains of the pier.
Leslie has been in Eastbourne for the last 18 months following a successful cancer operation in London.
Being an ex serviceman he has received active support from the British Legion so he would like to thank you all who supported the poppy appeal because with out the Legion he would have struggled.
He tries to spend his day meeting and talking to people along the seafront so if you see him say hello .
