I scooted to the beach to join Jane and Lizzie for sundowners on their last night in South Africa and had to laugh at how absurdly heavenly Cape Town can be sometimes. Not at all because of the model shoot, but because the place where we were playing bocce and drinking boxed wine was nice enough to host one.

It's amazing how long it takes to get a picture of a guy waving a piece of fabric over a girl's head while she brushes hair out of her face in just the right way. That poor pretty boy had his arms in the air for half an hour before the photographer was satisfied. And it's true what they say, she was too skinny in real life.
