Something doesn't add up.

Harvey's latest victim - a poor little Wren. I've read that every year 50 million songbirds are killed by cats in the UK. I've also read that there are around 8 or 9 million cats in the UK. That's only around one bird killed per cat every two months. Doesn't sound right to me... Even if half the cats never go out of the house that only makes it one bird per catmonth. The number must be much higher than 50 million.
On the whole, cats deserve less pampering... Or maybe more if it keeps them indoors.
