Flocking together

We got up early today to go and look for a Great Grey Shrike which has been reported not too far away. We didn't see it - although someone clearly did as it was reported again. We did see a flock of Bullfinches feeding on the heather seeds, and plenty of other birds including a small flock of Goldcrest, and it was a glorious bright, frosty morning. After breakfast, I did some more painting and cleared out the workshop, ready for painting inaccessible areas.
Got behind with my commenting - apologies. I'd set aside some time yesterday, but it appears we are still having some connectivity problems.
