CannyScot's Day

Evening sky

A dry, sunny day but quite chilly.

Unbelievably, I spent all afternoon in hospital. I developed a very painful swelling on my ankle, went to the GP who arranged for me to go to the Orthopaedic Investigation Unit. They aspirated the fluid in my ankle, took bloods and x-rays. Eventually they concluded it wasn't an Ortho problem but various markers indicated infection and also renal problems.

They sent me home, but I have to see the Cardiology Consultant tomorrow so they said they would update her with all the results. I have to say I am once again so grateful for the Scottish NHS.

Fortunately, there was an excellent view of the River Tay and the Fife hills. As the day progressed, the sky took on an excellent hue, as you can see from the blip.
