Shining light

This is the bell tower at Kirkburn church, which looks very pretty at Christmas when they put tea lights all the way up the staircase.

Talking of candles we have had power cuts all day, on off, on off, on off! My washing machine took 6 hours to do a single wash! Anyhow the electricity can do what it wants now we have loads of candles the log burner is roaring away and I can boil a kettle on the fire for a hottie!

Must remember to put candles out.......................
