The Pond Swan.

Just could not resist this one early this morning. The penn swan by the old village pond at Ansty. The pond is fed entirely by springs, always very clear.
Lovely village Ansty, famous for its 50ft Maypole and the court case of November 1939. RAF Policeman John Noonan was fined 20`s for selling the Irish Hospital Sweepstake tickets in the village. The Magistrate said he should have known better !
