Amazing Thailand!

Not far from Khao Yai Natl. Park, there is an area of southern Isan known as "the Switzerland of Isan". Here, the air is purer than anywhere else in the country. This is a hilly region, where there are many orchards: bananas, 'monkey apples', pomegranates, strawberries and many other kinds of berries. They also grow corn, sugar cane and from time to time you can see cows grazing in meadows and even horses. Hard to believe you are still in Thailand.
Most foreign tourists do not know about this hidden side of the country.Thais do though!
This lake is towered by range of hills that shelter no less than three national parks along with Khao Yai.
This is the view you have from the road. And just here, there is a lovely Thai resort, where I stayed for one night.
