Heat Wave

The past few days in the Blue Mountains have been incredibly hot and even the birds are feeling the heat. It was wonderful to look out today and see these two Rosellas just sitting in the bird baths. They were having a wonderful time. They sat for so long I had time to race downstairs and find the camera. They certainly weren't in a hurry to move and were having a lovely chat.

I've always believed that making sure that the water is there as a constant for them is more important than feeding the birds. Today proved that point.
