Let the planting begin

It was a family affair today as I had organised a community planting event of 2015 daffodil bulbs and 50m2 of wildflower seeds in Elder Park, Govan, Glasgow. Danny was a star and raked all the ground for the seeds and Will and Danny dug loads of holes for the bulbs. Ange did a sterling job sorting the refreshments. I was chief meeter and greeter!! Although I did dig about 5 holes and mixed the seeds.

We will revisit this blip site when they flower in spring.

'February Gold' is a perennial to 30cm in height, flowering in early spring, with golden-yellow flowers 7cm in width, the perianth segments slightly reflexed
