It's wet outside......

It has been raining pretty much all day.  And I've been at work through the daylight hours.  And I had no desire to wander around in the dark and wet trying to find something to feature on Blip.

When it rains hard, some of the water likes to make its way inside - we have a leak in our back utility area roof somewhere.  Walter collected a moderate amount of rainwater today in the washing up bowl.

You can also see the "dog flap" in our back door - not much flap in evidence.  Fido is quite an old dog, and although reasonably amenable to learning new tricks, he is happy to go through a hole, but not able to cope with the plastic flap.  We had trained him to be quite good at using this route out of, and most importantly, back into the house.  But recently, it seems to have become a one way hole - he goes out of it, but then barks at the patio door to be let in, sometimes at quite unsocial hours - he woke me at 0300 this morning!
