From tiny acorns
Big oak trees do grow, but not big enough to shelter us from the rain ("No you don't need a coat - it's not going to rain" said Mr B as we headed out 'geocaching' - it's the new word for 'wandering about in woods otherwise frequented by men with guns'.) This was the last shot before I resorted to shoving my camera up my jumper to keep it dry.
Otherwise a lovely walk, with the added advantage of not getting shot - never a given in France in hunting season. The only hunter we saw (we heard lots more) obligingly and unusually had his gun broken and his dog under control.
It being Sunday, I'm sure there was a ridiculously large Sunday dinner and lots of lying around moaning quietly and wishing we'd devoured fewer roast potatoes (not).
