Maol Ruadh

We had a late night (with a couple of nice malts) and it is very tired today.

I had a lazy walk up Maol Ruadh with Caley late afternoon.

For my own records I have just replaced one of the dip beam headlight bulbs on my car. The previous car (the same make and model absolutely devoured dip beam bulbs) without explanation. I hope this isn't the start of a similar pattern. I spoke to someone else a couple of weeks ago with the same type of car and I pointed out that one of their headlights wasn't working.They nodded that they were aware of it and said the car blew the dip beam bulbs on a regular basis.

As well as the cost the hassle of changing the bulb is right pain. You need to take the grill off. Totally disconnect and remove the headlamp unit. The bulb replacement is then best tackled on a well illuminated kitchen table. Can you imagine what I say when the next morning the other side has fused>
