Sunset over the Woodhead pass

Such a lot has happened sinced I last blipped.

I have been down with my Mum for the last week and sadly on Friday she died. It was expected and very peaceful at the end and I was able to be with her. The staff at the home were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough.

Then, last night we came home and today went to Sheffield to see our son and partner and our 3 grandchildren who we haven't seen for ages. It was lovely to have a 'normal' day.

As we were driving over the Woodhead Pass I looked back and saw these lovely pink clouds and we stopped so that I could take a photo. I used my new phone which isn't even going to function as a phone until Tuesday, but it seems to have quite a good camera !!
I am now about to pack and we are then off to a hotel off the motorway at Warwick as tomorrow we have to go back to Surrey to register Mum's death and go to the funeral directors. Then we will come straight home again.
After that it will be all sorts of paperwork and phone calls I expect.
